
Union Square and Mosaic join $20m series-B for Clue
Union Square Capital and Mosaic Ventures have joined a $20m series-B round for Berlin-based women's health app Clue.
The round was led by Nokia Growth Partners and saw participation from existing backers, as well as several high-net-worth individuals. Following the transaction, the company takes its total capital raised to $30m.
The company hopes to use the capital injection to further develop its product, as well as expand its Berlin-based team and move into the US market.
Previous funding
Union Square and Mosaic Ventures led a $7m series-A round for the business in October 2015.

Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Berlin, Clue is a period and fertility tracking app that helps users predict their periods, fertile windows and premenstrual syndrome. The company claims to have two million users in 180 countries.
