
IBB, WestTech et al. in €1.5m seed round for Fliit
IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft, WestTech Ventures and other VC firms and business angels have combined to provide Berlin-based logistics startup Fliit with €1.5m of seed funding.
PDV Inter-Media Venture, Building10 Venture Capital and unnamed business angels also took part in the round.
Fliit's distribution system is currently used primarily to deliver fresh produce. The company plans on using the extra funding to expand into other areas.

Fliit was founded in Berlin in 2016 by previous employees of DHL and Rocket Internet. The company has developed a platform to connect retailers, suppliers and end consumers to deliver fresh produce directly to customers. It currently processes around 10,000 shipments per month and is also working on a live tracking service for its deliveries.
