
Nord Holding buys PPS Imaging
Nord Holding has acquired a majority equity position in digital printing company PPS Imaging for an undisclosed sum.
PPS managers Michael Krieger and Roland Niggemeyer invested alongside Nord Holding for a minority stake.
The new investment will support the company's expansion through further acquisitions and strategic projects. International growth is planned with further acquisitions already targeted, according to Nord Holding CEO Matthias Kues.
Company
PPS was founded in 1971 as a nationwide photography lab and first moved into digital printing in 2000. Since then, the company has grown by the acquisition of competitors and printworks. It now has seven offices in Germany, as well as branches in Amsterdam in the Netherlands and Hungerford in the UK. PPS now employs a staff of 300 and generated a turnover of €40m in 2016.
