
CM-CIC leads €6.1m series-B for Robart
CM-CIC has led a €6.1m series-B funding round for Linz-based consumer robot software company Robart.
Innovacom, Robert Bosch Venture Capital and SEB Alliance also took part in the round.
The fresh capital will be used to strengthen Robart's market position in Europe, Asia and the US.

In April 2014, Innovacom, Robert Bosch Venture Capital and SEB Alliance invested €3m in Robart's first institutional funding round.
Company
Established in 2009, RobArt develops autonomous mobile robots for consumer and industrial applications based upon its AICU (Artificial Intelligence Control Unit) technology. Currently mainly found as vacuum cleaners, Robart thinks that household robots will take over many different areas in the coming years, such as fetch-and-carry tasks, entertainment, help for the elderly and home security. The company is based in Linz, Austria.
