Silverfleet supports bolt-on for Pumpenfabrik Wangen
Silverfleet Capital portfolio company Pumpenfabrik Wangen has acquired the Progressing Cavity Pumps business unit of German machinery manufacturer Knoll.
The GP acquired Pumpenfabrik Wangen in a €105m buyout in September 2017 drawing capital from its flagship buyout fund Silverfleet Capital Partners II.
It said the addition of the new business unit was an important milestone in the growth strategy, and would allow Pumpenfabrik Wangen to further penetrate key markets and expand internationally.
Knoll said it was planning to focus on its core business and was looking for a buyer to further develop the pumps division.
