IK-backed Schema acquires Tid Informatik
Nürnberg-based documentation management software provider Schema Group, a portfolio company of IK Investment Partners, has fully acquired catalogs software developer Tid Informatik by expanding its previous 27% shareholding in the company to 100%.
As a new wholly-owned subsidiary of Schema, the company will continue to operate as an independent business on the market alongside Schema Consulting and Schema Systems.
Tid Informatik managing directors Robert Schäfer and Rafi Boudjakdjian will retain their roles and continue to run the business.
With this acquisition, Schema expects to expand its portfolio as a provider of content lifecycle management systes and further consolidate its market position.
IK Investment Partners acquired Nürnberg-based documentation management software provider Schema Group in November 2018. The GP drew capital from IK Small Cap II, a €550m fund targeting buyouts of northern European companies with an enterprise value of less than €100m.

The company is headquartered in Inning am Ammersee with a second branch in Amberg, serves around 300 customers from various industries and employs 50 staff.
