
TA-backed Thinkproject acquires Conclude
Thinkproject, a portfolio company of international private equity firm TA Associates, has acquired Conclude, a Wuppertal-based provider of software-as-a-service for engineering and construction projects.
The acquisition will broaden Thinkproject's customer base and extend the software services it is currently able to offer to consumers. The deal follows its acquisition of Ceapoint in March 2019 for an undisclosed amount.
Drees & Sommer, a co-founding partner in Conclude, has also sold its stake.
A stake in Munich-based Thinkproject was acquired by TA in December 2016 for an undisclosed amount, from former investor Walter Beteiligungen und Immobilien.
TA Associates announced the launch of its most recent fund, TA Select Opportunities Fund, in October 2019. The fund has a target of $1bn.

Conclude provides software-as-a-service to assist with engineering, construction and infrastructure projects in Germany. It was founded in 2002 in Düsseldorf and is now based in Wuppertal, employing 40 staff.
The company had total assets of €3.2m and generated profits of €1.1m in 2017, according to Northdata.
