Nauta Capital backs €1.7m round for Airfocus
Nauta Capital has backed a €1.7m seed round for Airfocus, a German producer of software for strategic business planning.
Airfocus will use the fresh capital to expand its software platform, incorporating new data sources. It also aims to triple its team size.
Nauta's Munich-based partner Guillem Sagué will take a seat on the company's board.
The Airfocus round marks Nauta Capital's ninth software investment this year and its second investment in Germany of 2019, according to Unquote Data. In February, the VC led a $6m funding round for Berlin-based Zenloop, a customer experience management platform, deploying capital from the 2014 vintage Nauta Tech Invest IV.
Previous funding
Picea Capital and business angels including Fabian Fischer and Klaus Schlumpberger backed a pre-seed round for Airfocus in June, investing an undisclosed six-figure sum.
Company
Airfocus produces cloud-based software for businesses to facilitate prioritisation, roadmapping and product management as part of their strategy. The group's client base of more than 300 companies includes Shell, Nike and Decathlon.
Founded in 2018, Airfocus is based in Hamburg and has seven employees, according to LinkedIn.
