
Bregal buys majority stake in EA Elektro-Automatik
Bregal Unternehmerkapital has bought a majority stake in power supply unit manufacturer EA Elektro-Automatik as part of a succession agreement.
The GP said in a statement that it plans to strengthen the company's presence in the US and Asia, and broaden its product offering.
Bregal is currently deploying from funds including Bregal Unternehmerkapital II, which held a final close in October 2018 on €1.3bn. The fund writes tickets of €30-150m in companies with EBITDA of €5-30m.
Bregal declined to comment.

Established in 1974 by Helmut Nolden, EA is headquartered in Viersen, North Rhine-Westphalia, and has operations in China and the US. It produces electronic power supply units for use in research, education and industry.
The company has a headcount of 250. The group has revenues of $18.9m, according to Zoominfo.
