
Trasys Beteiligungs exits Elin Motoren to trade
Trasys Beteiligungs und Management has sold a 70% stake in Elin Motoren, an Austrian manufacturer of motors and generators, to Voith Group, a Germany-based mechanical engineering group.
The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2020 and is subject to approval from the competition authorities.
Trasys Beteiligungs und Management acquired a 100% stake in Elin Motoren in January 2005.

Founded in 1892 and headquartered in Weiz, Elin Motoren produces electric motors and generators for industrial use. The company has 1,000 employees at its production sites in Austria, Hungary and Bosnia and Herzegovina, and generates revenues of €120m.
