Triton's Meine Radiologie buys three gynaecology clinics
Berglandklinik Lüdenscheid, a subsidiary of Triton portfolio company Meine Radiologie Holding, has acquired three Germany-based gynaecology clinics.
The three practices have been integrated into MVZ Meine Gynäkologie Lüdenscheid, which was formed when former owner Jörn Tornow sold Berglandklinik Lüdenscheid to Meine Radiologie Holding in 2017.
Tornow will continue to manage and practice in the Berglandklinik, which has 80 employees.
Triton acquired Meine Radiologie Holding, then known as Deutsche Radiologie Holding, in January 2019, investing via its Smaller Mid-Cap Fund, which held a final close in July 2018 on €448m. The fund deploys equity tickets of €20-50m, targeting small and medium-sized businesses with revenues of €25-100m. The fund plans to invest in 10 or 11 companies during its investment period. It has so far made nine platform investments, according to Unquote Data.
Meine Radiologie Holding acquired MVZ Radiologie und Neurologie Mosbach and MVZ Radiologie Tempelhof in 2019, as well as Strahlentherapie Augsburg in January 2020.
