
Triton's Meine Radiologie buys Strahlentherapie Augsburg
Meine Radiologie, a portfolio company of Triton, has acquired radiotherapy treatment clinic Strahlentherapie Augsburg.
Triton acquired a majority stake in Meine (then known as Deutsche Radiologie Holding) in January 2019. The remaining shareholders were Tempus Capital and the company's management team. The company was founded in 2017 and provides radiology and radiotherapy for the treatment of cancer.
The GP invested in Meine via Smaller Mid-Cap Fund, which held a final close in July 2018 on €448m, exceeding its target of €350m. The vehicle invests €20-50m in SMEs in the DACH and Nordic regions with enterprise values of €25-100m. The fund's most recent platform investment was Norway-based consumer marketing data collection company Nordstat in September 2019.
In July 2019, Meine acquired radiology and diagnosis units MVZ Radiologie and Neurologie Mosbach in Baden-Wuerttemberg, and MVZ Radiologie Tempelhof in Berlin.
