Omers leads $20m round for Ultimate.ai
Omers Ventures has led a $20m round for Germany-based customer service automation software Ultimate.ai.
New investor Felicis Ventures also backed the round, alongside existing investors HV Capital and Maki.VC.
Following the round, Omers managing partner Jambu Palaniappan will join the company's board. Aydin Senkut, founding partner of Felicis Ventures, will also join as an adviser.
Ultimate.ai intends to use the fresh capital to develop its software platform and to expand to North America, as well as new European markets.
Previous funding
Ultimate.ai raised a seed round of $1.3m in September 2018, backed by HV Capital and Maki.VC.
In November 2019, the same investors backed a $6.5m round for Ultimate.ai.
Company
Founded in 2016, Ultimate.ai is a software platform for the automation of consumer service functions in contact centres. The company offers multi-lingual software, including specific platforms for e-commerce and retail, as well as for telecommunications companies. Its software can be integrated with platforms including Zendesk, Salesforce and Genesys. Ultimate.ai is based in Berlin, with additional operations in Helsinki.
