
Perusa buys TLT Group
Perusa has wholy acquired German automotive logistics business Trans-Logo-Tech Group (TLT) via its €207m Perusa Partners Fund II.
The company was sold by the existing managers, who will continue running the business.
This is the fund's first investment in the German Mittelstand. The GP said in a statement it was convinced of the company's potential to grow in and outside of Germany.
Perusa is also planning to find acquisitions and further synergies for the group. The firm was approached by TLT's corporate finance advisers Blättchen und Partner, which was looking for a buyer for the company. The GP said its offer and strategic plan for the growth of the business convinced the vendors at auction.
Debt
This was an all equity transaction. The GP has no plans for arranging any debt.
Company
TLT provides logistic solutions to the automotive industry and makes parts. The business is based in Markgröningen near Stuttgart. The group also consists of effecton Consulting and König.
The business was founded by managers Alen Cevra and Norbert Hauser in 2000 and employs around 200 people. The company's projected turnover for 2012 is €25m. The GP said it has very good profitability.
