Auriga leads Nexthink's $14.5m series-D
Auriga Partners has led a $14.5m series-D funding round for IT analytics company Nexthink, alongside existing investors VI Partners and Mannai Corporation.
Mannai is a Qatar-based trading corporation and joined Nexthink's series-C round in March 2012. Entrepreneur Gilles Queru also joined the round as a new investor.
The fresh capital has been earmarked for internationalisation and further investment in the company's analytics tools.
Previous funding
Nexthink has raised $29m to date, starting with a series-A of $4.9m in March 2007, led by Auriga and VI Partners. The two then committed a further $1.7m in June 2010. In March 2012, the company raised $5.5m in a series-C, in which Auriga and VI were joined by Mannai. Auriga then invested a further $7m in June this year.
Company
Headquartered in Lausanne, Nexthink arose in 2004 from a research project in artificial intelligence at Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne. It analyses IT service quality, security, and risk from the end-user's perspective.
The company claims to have more than doubled its customer base during the previous two years. At the time of its series-C investment, it had 300 customers across 12 countries, including the French government, Qatar Telecom, Swiss Telecom and Toyota.
