Neuhaus Partners et al. reinvest in Searchmetrics
Digital marketing software business Searchmetrics has received further funding from previous backers Neuhaus Partners, Iris Capital and Holtzbrinck Digital.
The fresh growth capital injection will be used to fund Searchmetrics' global expansion, product development and support.
Previous funding
Neuhaus was the first GP to back Searchmetrics, investing in November 2010. In January 2011, Iris Capital led a €5m funding round for the company, bringing the total capital invested in the German software business to €8.5m at the time.
Company
Berlin-based Searchmetrics was founded in 2007 as SEOmetrie, but changed its name to Searchmetrics the following year.
The company develops search analytics software for businesses, with a main focus on search engine optimisation. Headquartered in Berlin, Searchmetrics also has offices in San Mateo, London, New York and Paris.
Searchmetrics said in a statement it had seen order growth of 137% in its core business in 2014 compared to last year, as well as an 80% increase in revenues.
