
EQT buys EIS Aircraft
EQT has acquired EIS Aircraft Group, a German provider of products and services to the aerospace industry, from a consortium of private shareholders.
EQT stated it will increase the company's product offering and will invest in improving current products. The incumbent management team will continue to lead the group.

EIS comprises EIS Aircraft and Deva Kunststofftechnik. It provides original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) within the aerospace market with lightweight cabin interior products and services. Products include window frames, separators, passenger service unit panels, curtain headers, brackets and connectors. The group also provides cabin maintenance, repair and overhaul services, as well as flight training services.
The company generated turnover of €40m in 2013 and has 300 employees. Headquartered in Euskirchen, it also operates in Lemgo, Mönchengladbach, Kiel and Munich.

Wolf Schoettner is CEO of EIS. Michael Föcking and Andreas Fischer are partners at EQT. Peter Grafoner and Manfred Egner are industrial advisors to EQT and joined the EIS board of directors.
