Argos-backed Factum makes two bolt-ons
Argos Wityu-backed Factum Group, a French technical equipment rental business, has acquired electronics reseller Nodixia and equipment management service Les Artisans du Mobile.
The integration of these two companies will enable Factum to offer asset valuation services as well as a secondhand equipment rental section.
Argos acquired Factum in a tertiary buyout from Naxicap Partners in June 2018, drawing capital from the €550m fund Euroknights VII. The transaction ended an 11-year holding period for Naxicap, which backed the secondary buyout from Perfectis Private Equity in 2007.
The combined group will employ 132 people and generate sales of approximately €160m. The founders and all employees of both the newly acquired businesses will join Factum, but each entity will retain its name and existing offices.
Company
Nodixia was founded in 2004 and is headquartered in Languedoc-Roussillon. It recovers, repackages and resales consumer electronics. The company employs 50 people and, of those in the production department, 80% have disabilities. Nodixia generates sales of €10m.
Les Artisans du Mobile rents out smartphones to corporations. It also assists with maintenance and data management. The business employs 12 people in Paris and Bordeaux, and generates €2.5m in revenues.
