
Alven backs series-A round for Madbox
French venture capital investor Alven has invested €15m in mobile gaming company Madbox in a series-A round.
The fresh capital will help Madbox diversify its offering towards new mobile game genres and hire staff in the coming months.
Alven backs companies operating in the technology, media, telecommunications and services sectors, preferably in France. It is currently investing via Alven Capital V, closed on €250m in 2016.

Stemming from the merger of two Paris-based game studios in Q3 2018, Madbox is the mobile gaming company behind games including StickMan Hook, Dash Valley, Sausage Flip and Golf Race. All Madbox games are produced internally.
