
Vendep leads €1.2m round for Brella
Venture capital house Vendep Capital has led a €1.2m funding round for Finnish software developer Brella, alongside angel investors.
According to a statement, the capital injection will allow the company to further expand its business across the US market and increase its headcount, specifically with sales and marketing staff and product developers.
Vendep recently hit its €40m target for its second vehicle, Vendep Capital Fund II, in May 2017. The fund focuses on Finnish startups and targets companies operating in the software-as-a-service segment with an initial investment between €500,000-1m.

Founded in 2016 and based in Jyväskylä, Finland, Brella develops a networking mobile application focusing on business events. The software aims to help event visitors enhance their business network through a matchmaking algorithm.
