Paladin leads €3m series-A extension for DPOrganizer
US-based venture capital firm Paladin Capital Group has led a €3m series-A extension for Stockholm-based regulation technology company DPOrganizer.
Nordic VC firms Industrifonden, Creades, Inbox Capital and Soläng Invest – all of which invested in DPOrganizer's initial round – also participated in this extension round.
With the latest round, the total funding raised by the startup has reached €6m.
Previous funding
Swedish evergreen VC Industrifonden led a €3m series-A funding round for DPOrganizer in November 2017. Other backers in the round included Creades, Inbox Capital and Soläng. With the fresh capital, the tech firm intended to develop its products and expand its operations to a global scale.
Company
Headquartered in Stockholm and founded in 2015, DPOrganizer creates data protection management software that helps companies around the globe manage their personal data processing and data protection activities.
According to the company, the European Union's General Data Protection Regulation, which came into effect in May 2018, will create new responsibilities for businesses to handle personal data appropriately in order to meet new requirements.
