
EQT Ventures, NordicNinja lead $25m series-A for Einride
EQT Ventures and NordicNinja VC have co-led a $25m series-A funding round for autonomous electric truck manufacturer Einride.
Ericsson Ventures, the Norrsek Foundation, Plum Alley Investments and Plug and Play Ventures also took part in the latest financing.
The fresh capital will be used to improve Einride’s software platform as well as to invest in international expansion.
NordicNinja is a VC firm launched by the Japan Bank for International Cooperation in partnership with BaltCap. Its debut fund JB Nordic Fund I raised €101m to invest in Nordic and Baltic companies.

Einride was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in Stockholm. It designs and builds autonomous electric trucks known as the T-pod and T-log. The name means “lone rider” and is a reference to the Nordic god Thor.
