Crane leads $5m round for Forecast
Crane Venture Partners has led a $5m funding round for Forecast, a Danish developer of AI-based project management software.
Existing investors Seed Capital and Heartcore also participated in the round.
The total funding the company has raised to date is now almost $10m. With the fresh capital, Forecast will supplement its Copenhagen-based team with a new office in London in Q1 2020. The new funding will also be used to scale across engineering, product, sales and marketing.
Previous funding
In 2018, Sunstone Technology Ventures led a $3m funding round for Forecast, with participation from Danish early-stage funds Seed Capital and PreSeed Ventures, as well as angel investor Rasmus Aaen Madsen.

Founded in 2016 and headquartered in Copenhagen, Forecast is an AI-based business management platform that helps companies automate operations to drive business performance. Forecast has so far managed more than 40,000 projects for a global customer base. The company employs 38 staff.
