
NordicNinja, Industrifonden in €3.9m series-A for Combinostics
NordicNinja and Industrifonden have led a €3.9m series-A funding round for Finnish health technology startup Combinostics.
The round also saw participation from previous angel investors.
Combinostics is NordicNinja's fifth "deep tech" investment (companies based on substantial scientific advances and high-tech engineering innovation) in six months. Industrifonden investment manager Patrik Sobocki noted that the investment represents another step in the organisation's focus on health technology.
The funding will be used to ramp up the company's research and development, and scale its early Alzheimer's diagnosis platform for the US and Asia.

Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Tampere, Combinostics is a biotechnology firm that supports healthcare professionals in the diagnosis and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases. The company's clients include radiology and neurology departments in the EU, the US, Japan and South Korea.
