
Polaris divests AddPro to Perusa
Polaris Private Equity has sold Swedish IT security and infrastructure business AddPro to German GP Perusa.
Perusa plans to expand AddPro into other countries outside of the Nordic region.
The company's revenues and earnings tripled under Polaris's ownership.
Previous funding
Polaris acquired a 70% stake in AddPro in May 2005, financing the deal using funds from Polaris Private Equity Fund II, according to unquote" data. The fund closed on €270m in April 2006, beating its €220m target.
The deal was sourced via Polaris's local network in southern Sweden and debt facilities were provided by Svenska Handelsbanken.
In 2012, AddPro acquired Danish IT company Snex.

Founded in 2000 by Nicklas Persson, Robert Hansson, Magnus Norling and Klas Ljunggren in southern Sweden, AddPro operates within the IT infrastructure and IT security segment. It also provides related outsourcing solutions for data centres. It has offices in Malmö, Stockholm, Gothenburg, Helsingborg, Kristianstad, Copenhagen and Silkeborg.
The group has almost 300 employees, 230 of whom are technical consultants. 2014 revenue is expected to reach SEK 630m.
