Creandum injects $3.75m into Planday
Creandum has made a $3.75m (SEK 25m) commitment to Planday, a Copenhagen-based software-as-a-service business focused on employee scheduling.
The company will use the fresh funding to expand its geographical presence.
Planday began seeking venture capital investment in mid-2013. The firm met Creandum, based in Stockholm and Palo Alto, at a Silicon Valley pitching day in autumn.
Creandum is thought to have invested via Creandum III, which closed on €135m in May 2013.
Company
Founded in 2013 and based in Copenhagen, Planday has developed a software solution to simplify employee scheduling, HR and payroll for SMEs. The company's online solution is accessible via iOS, Android, Windows or Mac and is pitched at businesses relying on flexible workforces including restaurants, hotels, call centres and shops.
In the last few years, Planday has experienced 100% growth.
