PAI interested in dairy producer Ebro Puleva
PAI Partners has reportedly expressed interest in acquiring Spanish dairy producer Ebro Puleva.
Large trade players, including France's Groupe Lactalis, Italy's Parmalat and Spain's Central Lechera Asturian are also said to be eyeing up the Spanish dairy producer, in a deal believed to value the company at €500m.
The French private equity firm is no stranger to the dairy sector, in 2002 it acquired a 50% in yoghurt brand Yoplait from milk co-operative Sodiaal for an estimated €1bn.
PAI Partners have not return calls for comment.
