Invercaria invests in IActive
Invercaria has invested €750,000 as part of a €3m funding round for Spanish technology company IActive.
The private equity firm, which represents the investment vehicle of the Junta de Andalucía, announced plans last week to merge with the other private equity investors in the region.
Investing via the Jeremie Capital Riesgo fund, Invercaria SGECR will now hold a 25% stake in the business, diluting its predecessor's share from 23% to 11%. Invercaria had previously injected €450,000 into the company in 2009.
Other investors to participate in the latest round included Fondo Capital Riesgo Jeremie, which provided a credit facility worth €1.05m from its Fondo Multiinstrumento, and Inversiones Progranada Sociedad de Capital Riesgo, which invested a further €750,000.
