Dentons poaches Clifford Chance's Durán as partner
Global law firm Dentons has appointed Clifford Chance’s Jesús Durán as a partner to lead its private equity practice in Spain.
Denton intends to significantly expand its operations in Spain in response to increasing private equity activity in the country.
Durán spent nine years with Clifford Chance, having joined the firm from King & Wood Mallesons in 2006. He has 15 years of experience working on M&A, private equity and fund structuring.
Durán, who will be based in Denton's Madrid office, studied for his legal qualifications at Columbia Law School, College of Europe and University College London.
