
Fondo ICO Global announces second tender result
Spain's Fondo ICO Global has announced the results of its second tender, committing to local vehicles and a handful of international funds.
Notable recipients of the latest tender include global buyout house Trilantic Capital Partners and PAI Partners' PAI Europe V fund, which held a first close on €1.4bn in January 2014.
The €1.2bn fund-of-funds has also committed to local mezzanine fund Oquendo Mezzanine II, marking its first commitment to a debt vehicle.
Espiga Capital has also received ICO's support for its latest vehicle, Espiga Equity Fund.
Among the venture capital recipients are Axon Capital's Fondo Axon ICT III, Caixa Capital Risc's Caixa Capital TIC II, Forbion's Capital Fund III vehicle, and Seaya Capital Gestion's Seaya Ventures.
Managed by Axis, Fondo ICO Global launched in 2013 and has since backed 14 private equity and venture capital funds, following its first tender in December 2013.
