
Caixa in €1.3m round for Nanusens
Venture capital firm Caixa Capital Risc has led a €1.3m funding round for Spanish nanodevices producer Nanusens.
As part of the deal, several backers invested in the funding round alongside Caixa, including Spanish venture capitalist Inveready, as well as high-net-worth individuals.
According to a statement, the funding round will boost the company's expansion plan, leading to production and commercialisation of its main products.

Founded in 2014 and headquartered in Barcelona, Nanuses manufactures micro electrical and mechanical devices with applications in the automotive, medical equipment, communication and internet of things sectors.
At the time of publication, the business was developing four patented products.
