
Altran et al. in €7m round for Zeleros
Altran and Grupo Red Eléctrica have led a €7m funding round for Spain-based Zaleros, a developer of tube-based transport infrastructure.
Also participating were strategic investors Goldacre Ventures, Road Ventures, Plug and Play, Angels Capital and MBHA.
The fresh capital will be used to lead the development of its Hyperloop vehicle and its core technologies.
The company's CEO and co-founder, David Pistoni, was looking to raise €5m, Mergermarket reported on 17 January 2020.
Previous funding
In November 2017, Zeleros raised €150,000 in seed funding from undisclosed investors.
Company
Established in 2016 and headquartered in Valencia, Zeleros is a developer of Hyperloop, a tube-based transport system. The company has 42 full-time employees and there are an additional 120 freelancers working on the Hyperloop development project.
