
Fondo Italiano invests €10m in EMARC
Fondo Italiano di Investimento has injected €10m into italian industrial group EMARC in exchange for a minority stake.
The deal is the 23rd direct investment completed by Fondo Italiano since its launch in Spring 2010.
The fresh capital will support the national and international expansion of the firm through acquisitions, as well as the extension of its product range.
Company
Founded in 1978 and based in Vinovo, Italy, EMARC designs and produces components for motor vehicles. The firm's product range includes doors, hatches, sliding door systems, components and modules for motor vehicles in both steel and aluminium.
The company currently employs around 670 members of staff and has 13 manufacturing facilities across Europe, South America, China and India. EMARC reports a €139m turnover, just less than 70% of which comes from exports.
