
Partners Group takes minority stake in Tous
Swiss investor Partners Group has taken a 25% stake in Spanish luxury goods brand Tous, alongside the founding family.
The investment will support Tous's international expansion, focusing on the US and Chinese markets in particular.
Control of the company will remain with the Tous family, which founded the business in 1920 and will hold 75% of the company's equity once the deal closes. The transaction is expected to complete by the end of 2015.
Tous's current management team will continue in their current roles after the investment from the GP.

Founded in Manresa in 1920, Tous is a designer of jewelry, watches, leather goods, fragrances, eyewear and accessories, specifically targeting the affordable luxury segment.
The company had sales of €371m in 2014, generated from 500 shops on five continents. It employs a workforce of 2,000.
