
B4 acquires Agrimaster stake for €10m
B4 Investimenti has acquired an 80% stake in Agrimaster, an Italy-based producer of farming machinery, for a reported €10m.
Agrimaster's founders, the Martoni family, will retain a 20% stake in the business.
B4 was founded by former KPMG corporate finance professional Fabrizio Baroni in 2012. The firm targets small-cap Italian companies across the food, retail, design, technology, manufacturing and precision mechanics sectors, which have plans for international expansion.
In July 2013, B4 completed its maiden investment with the acquisition of a 24% stake in catering group Migeca.
Company
Bologna-based Agrimaster, which produces fork-lift trucks, shredders and flail mowers for use in the agricultural sector, was founded in 1984. The business generated a turnover of €11m in 2013 with EBITDA of €1.78m.
