Arle Capital's Parques Reunidos buys Noah's Ark
Arle Capital portfolio company Parques Reunidos has acquired Noah's Ark, the US's largest water park.
The acquisition makes Parques Reunidos the operator of 71 theme parks across ten countries. The deal was completed with a view to support the group's strategic growth in the US.
Since Parques Reunidos' US operations were refinanced with a high-yield bond in 2011, the company did not require Arle to provide additional capital.
Due to its good performance in 2011, Parques Reunidos will be written up in Arle's books.
Company
Noah's Ark is a Wisconsin Dells-based water theme park with 51 attractions.
People
Richard Golding is executive chairman of Parques Reunidos.
