
Immfly raises €2.4m from Caixa Capital
Spanish in-flight sales platform Immfly has raised €2.4m in a funding round from compatriot venture capital firm Caixa Capital, through Caixa Capital Risc.
The investment has increased the company's financial capacity by more than €10m. Following the deal, the fresh capital will allow the company to bolster its international expansion in the European market. The company's product is a wireless platform that allows passengers to connect and have access to in-flight entertainment and e-commerce services.
Co-founders Pablo Linz and Jimmy Martinez von Korff have revealed plans to sign an agreement with Iberia Express to install the company's platform throughout the airline's fleet, and expects to sign new contracts with other companies within 2016. Immfly assisted 200,000 passengers last year, unquote" understands.
