
NVM Private Equity to raise £15m in share issue
NVM Private Equity has announced it will raise £15m in a public offering of new shares for the listed Northern Venture Trust fund.
The fund was floated in October 1995 and has made a number of investments in a portfolio of quoted and unquoted shares and securities. Ordinary shares in the public offer will be made available in early November 2010 and will be available with 30% income tax relief on subscriptions up to £200,000.
NVM saysit is raising new capial to focus on new investments will take place in the next phase of the economic cycle. The proposal to raise £15m for the evergreen fund is subject to approval at the shareholder general meeting in October.
