TA Associates appoints Cancre as vice president

TA Associates has appointed Max Cancre as vice president in its London office.
Cancre rejoins the firm, having left his role as investment associate in 2013 to undertake an MBA at Harvard Business School.
During his MBA he undertook two three-month internships, on the development team at accommodation booking platform OneFineStay and the investment team at Index Ventures.
In his new role, Cancre will focus on European investments in technology and financial services.
Prior to joining TA Associates in 2010, Cancre spent two years as an investment banking analyst at Barclays Capital.
TA Associates has not been particularly active in Europe throughout 2015. Most recently it acquired management software company Access Technology Group from Lyceum Capital in January and exited asset management company DNCA Finance to Natixis Global Asset Management in February.
