
MMC Ventures injects £1.8m in Interactive Investor
MMC Ventures has provided UK personal finance media company Interactive Investor with £1.8m of growth capital funding.
MMC Ventures believes the retail brokerage market - in which Interactive Capital is also active - has experienced exponential growth. It also stated that the business has grown organically at over 20% per annum. The fresh funds will allow Interactive Investor to fund several development projects.
London-based Interactive Investor is a media group focusing on personal finance. It operates both online and in print - with magazines including Moneywise and Money Observer. Interactive Online also offers a range of personal investment accounts where products including shares, funds and derivatives can be traded.
The company generates revenues of £14m and employs 81 people.
