
Investcorp sells Moody International for £450m
Investcorp has exited technical services group Moody International to trade buyer Intertek for £450m.
The private equity house had acquired Moody in early 2007 in a secondary buyout from Close Brothers Private Equity for $311m.
Headquartered in Haywards Heath, Moody provides quality and safety services to the global energy industry. It employs approximately 2500 people in over 80 offices worldwide. The company reported revenues of $457m with EBITDA $49m in 2009.
