
August committs further £23m to bulk up First Call
August Equity has committed a further £23m to fund the merger of its existing portfolio company First Call Services to Active Assistance.
Active, based in Sevenoaks, provides a national live-in care service for adults and children with spinal cord injuries and neurological conditions. First Call, based in Essex, provides a live-out care service to children and adults with a wide range of clinical conditions including spinal injury, cerebral palsy, forensic behaviours, learning difficulties and mechanical ventilation.
The latest transaction represents the fifth from August's second fund, August Equity Partners II.
