Endless invests in Amdega
Endless has provided UK premium timber conservatories manufacturer Amdega Limited with growth capital funding.
HSBC also contributed funding alongside the private equity house. Endless' investment, made from the £164m Fund II vehicle, will be used to provide additional working capital for the business and support its ongoing development.
Endless stated that the investment was in line with its strategy to back the UK manufacturing industry, and in particular British heritage brands with strong growth potential.
Founded in 1874, Amdega is a conservatory designer and manufacturer based in Faverdale. It supplies bespoke conservatories, orangeries, summerhouses, gazebos and pool houses to both the consumer and hotel markets. The business, whose clients include Gleneagles and Four Seasons, has an annual turnover of nearly £20m and employs 220 people. It also exports to the USA and continental Europe.
