
Praetura leads £2.4m round for Futr
Praetura Ventures has led a £2.4m funding round for customer service chatbot developer Futr.
The fresh capital will be used to double the size of the team, which is currently seven, according to LinkedIn.
Praetura is a UK-based venture capital firm that invests in early-stage tech companies based in the UK.
The VC said in a statement that the market for "natural language communication" was set to grow to $15.7bn by 2024.

Futr was founded in 2017 and is headquartered in London. It makes customer service bots that communicate over WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger on behalf of companies. It has partnered with Amazon and Microsoft, and its clients include local government and services like the police.
