83North, Felix Capital lead $20m round for HungryPanda
83North and Felix Capital have led a $20m round for online food delivery platform HungryPanda.
Felix drew capital from Felix Capital Fund II, which closed on $150m in July 2017 and invests $100,000-10m. 83North is currently investing from its fifth-generation fund, which closed on $300m in October 2019 and makes equity cheques of $4-8m at series-A.
The two firms were the only investors in the round.
The investment will be used to accelerate the team's growth and accelerate global expansion, with a focus on the US market.
Frederic Court of Felix told Unquote: "We take a very long-term view of early-stage investments and we think there's a large amount of long-term opportunities for global expansion for HungryPanda."
The company is already working to secure its next funding round, according to a statement.
