
Bridgepoint-backed Fishawack acquires Skysis
Bridgepoint portfolio company Fishawack, a healthcare communication agency, has acquired consultancy Skysis.
This is the first acquisition Fishawack has made since Bridgepoint acquired the firm in March 2020, although the transaction completed at the beginning of April 2020. Bridgepoint was investing from its Europe VI fund, which closed on €5.7bn in December 2017.
Unquote understands the combined entry multiple of both Skysis and Fishawack was 12.8x.
LDC acquired the company in a £38m management buyout in 2017 and subsequently provided £18.5m in follow-on funding to support a series of five acquisitions.
The acquisition of Skysis was made to grow the firm's consulting capabilities.
