
BDC acquires 40% stake in MVF
Bridgepoint Development Capital (BDC) has acquired a 40% stake in MVF, a UK-based digital marketing company.
The fresh capital will enable the business to make acquisitions and pursue its international expansion strategy.
The transaction is BDC's second investment in a software-focused marketing company in the past year, having acquired Birmingham-based Inspired Thinking Group in April last year for £28m.
Debt
HSBC provided a debt package to support the deal.
Company
Founded in 2009, London-headquartered MVF uses in-house technology, in addition to data analytics and digital marketing, to generate sales leads for clients. The company stated it has enjoyed 278% compound annual revenue growth rate since 2013. MVF has around 1,500 customers including British Gas, Nestlé and Mars.
