
North West Fund injects £400,000 into Intechnica
The North West Fund for Venture Capital, managed by Enterprise Ventures, has invested in Intechnica, a UK provider of software for e-commerce businesses.
Following completion of the deal, Intechnica will look to expand into the US market.
The transaction is the second software investment by the North West Fund in quick succession. The vehicle injected £400,000 into Liverpool-based digital dictation and transcription service Document Direct just days before the Intechnica announcement.
The Greater Manchester Investment Fund also took part in the Intechnica round.

Headquartered in Manchester and founded in 2007, Intechnica provides internet queueing software that allows e-commerce businesses to manage periods of high web traffic. The business has a headcount of 53 and its customers include Marks & Spencer, Asos, Unilever and Network Rail.
