
Accel injects $6m into Hassle.com
Accel Partners has provided $6m of series-A funding to Hassle.com, a UK-based online platform for local cleaners.
The capital will be used to fund the company's expansion into additional European and UK cities.
Accel stated that it was attracted to Hassle.com by the speed at which the company had developed and the simplicity of its service. Cleaners who use the service charge a flat rate of £10 per hour and can be selected on the basis of their expertise.
In March 2014, Accel injected $40m of series-A funding into WorldRemit, a London-based online money transfer firm.

Founded in March 2012, Hassle.com is a UK-based online marketplace that matches customers' postcodes to local home cleaners. The company aims to remove administration costs and time associated with traditional cleaning services.
