
UK large buyouts hit €8bn

Larger deals have made a major comeback in the UK, with an aggregate deal value of €8bn in he third quarter, according to the latest unquote” UK watch.
While deals worth over €150m have surged forward in 2010, smaller deal activity has seen less impressive growth, reaching only the levels seen in the early years of the 20th century.
Early-stage and expansion activity in the UK has fared rather better, experiencing its best quarter of 2010 with €1.3bn of investment.
